Jonquil Motel

Lovely, charming motel. Old style but the rooms are beautifully renovated. Check in was great. We were given lots of helpful information. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room (no. 5)had a fridge and microwave and kettle. There was even fresh milk in the fridge. We also had a small table and chairs. The motel has a lovely garden and easy parking. Short walk into the main town, which is lovely, and has a good selection of restaurants and shops. There is a Circle K next door if you want to get snacks, water, etc.thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I gave it 5 stars based on the price paid. It is an updated 1930s motel so the bathroom is quite small but perfectly adequate. The management is only there a couple of hours per day but the girl we talked with was very friendly and offered to refresh our room which was much appreciated. They had instant coffee in the room and the beds were very comfortable. The walls are a bit thin but caused no issues. It was a relatively short walk to restaurants. For the price, this is a good choice.

We were in town for only 1 day. Jonquil is in a good location to walk downtown and check things out, grab a bite to eat, check out the Mining & Historical Museum, and other interesting things to see. Its a very unique little town nestled in a steep canyon with many historic and older buildings clinging to steep slopes. Definitely worth a visit.....reminded me of Jerome, AZ. The staff at Jonquil were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean & comfortable. And considering it is right in town, I was surprised how quiet it was!

Checkin was easy and they were kind enough to extend the check-in times so that I could make my tour at Kartchner Caverns an hour away. Rooms are unique, interesting, and comfortable. Dedicated parking is a huge plus as parking in Bisbee is a challenge. Highly recommend this unique hotel.

I totally enjoyed staying at the Jonquil. The motel is minutes from restaurants and shops, and I didn't need my car to get around.They have their own parking lot so you don't have far to carry your luggage. The staff were great, very personable and my dog was totally welcome. I plan to make this an annual trip!

We got the biggest room which is 5. We loved it. We were here on a Tuesday so it was quiet. We met the owner he was out gardening . From the front desk showing us around and met the cleaning lady which was full of energy. We enjoyed our one night here. Bed was comfortable, the shower had been updated so that was a plus. Everything within walking distance.

I recently stayed at the Jonquil Motel and it was a delightful experience.The motel has a charming vintage vibe. The room was tastefully decorated with many personal touches that made me feel at home. The owners were welcoming and imparted a sense of hospitality that is not common these days.It's a cozy and charming spot that I'd highly recommend.
